Strathcona County Business Directory

Initial business identity and location facts come from the County open-data Business Directory. This voluntary directory is a starting point and is not a complete or guaranteed-current list of restaurants. It does not provide verified cuisine or opening-hours schedules.

Coverage boundary

The coverage polygon uses the Sherwood Park feature from the County’s separately licensed Urban Service Area dataset. Source geometry is transformed to WGS84. Bremner and other County areas are outside this directory’s default coverage.

Contains information licensed under the Open Government Licence – Strathcona County. Data is supplied as-is. County logos and implied official endorsement are not included in this permission.

Restaurant sources

Official restaurant websites and staff/owner evidence support additional factual details. Field-level source and check dates are available on profiles. We do not import Google reviews, ratings or photos. We do not extract restaurant listings from map tiles.

Map credits

The interactive map uses MapLibre and OpenFreeMap, with © OpenMapTiles and data from OpenStreetMap contributors. OpenFreeMap currently requires no API key; continued availability or pricing is not guaranteed. Required attribution remains on the map.

If the map fails, the directory continues in list form. No paid fallback, public Nominatim autocomplete or unrestricted OpenStreetMap tile-server fallback is used.
